Argentina swaps $164 mn of Dual Bond AF20

Argentine economy ministry swapped $164 million sovereign bonds (AF20) for four new instruments maturing in August 2021. The swap represents only 10% of the total bond value due Feb. 13. The exchange consisted of $126.51 million in US dollar-denominated paper for a new AR$7.56 billion obligation denominated in local currency; $23.6 million for a new AR$1.34 billion obligation; $12.19 million for an $8.45 million bond, both denominated in dollars; and $2.06 million for a new local currency bond of AR$117.96 million.
