International soybean price closed at $439.15

The price of soybeans in the international market closed yesterday its seventh consecutive day of rising to reach $439.15 per ton, its highest value in six years, a figure that also revalues the local harvest to a record $15.5 billion. It is an ideal scenario for the Argentinean economy that would start receiving the most substantial foreign currency income between March and April next year.

Local wine sales recover by 8.3% and exports by 35.7%

In the domestic market, the increase in sales is 8.3% accumulated for the first nine months of 2020. Argentina exported a total of 337.5 million litres of wine in the first ten months of 2020, which implies a growth in the volume of 35.7% compared to the same period in 2019. In the world ranking of exporting countries, Argentina went from 11th to 8th place, thanks to the work of the public and private sectors.
