Trade surplus down to $271 million

The November trade surplus fell to $271 million, the lowest for the year, which reduced 89% compared to the positive balance in November 2019. In the 11th month of the year, foreign purchases were 20.7% higher than in the same month last year, while exports were 25.6% lower than in the same period in 2019. During the first eleven months of 2020, the country accumulated a trade surplus of $12.49 billion, compared to $13.75 billion for the same period in 2019.
